Borealis Counselling Services is an employer-sponsored benefit (EFAP) that provides confidential assessment, short-term counselling, and follow-up services to employees and family members of participating companies and organizations. Our goal is to assist employees and their family members to lead healthier and more productive lives through the alleviation of distress and suffering caused by a wide range of psychological and/or work-place related issues. Borealis Counselling Services can assist your employees in addressing problems that affect their professional and personal lives.
Why have an Employee Family Assistance Program?
Research indicates that organizations that provide access to an Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) for their employees can significantly reduce the costs of doing business. For example, employees who use EFAP services often experience positive changes in their work performance, such as having fewer days late or absent, higher levels of work productivity, and improved work team relations. In addition, intervention helps to resolve problems for employees before they create emotional, physical, or work-related issues. For more information on the value of having an EFAP click here.
